The "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar" Corporation substantiated the reserves of the Voyshorskoe fields` barite ore (Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District). Thus gave a start to an innovative project - the creation of an enterprise for the production and the complex delivery of components of the drilling fluids on the basis of geological deposits of the Ural region.

The "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar" Corporation has a license with the purpose: of exploration and mining of the Voyshorskoe fields` barite ore deposits (Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District). In the State balance of mineral reserves of the Russian Federation, the reserves of the Voyshorskoe fields` barite ore are accounted by the "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar" Corporation from 01.02.2009.

Up to date, the concept of a mining plant for the production of drilling fluids based on Voyshorskoe barite deposits and Ust-Maninskoe bentonite clay deposits, as well as a marketing strategy for the investments` attraction are developed.

In accordance with the terms of subsurface geological and approved specification for the first phase of the Voyshorskoe barite deposits, as a part of the agreement concluded between the "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar " Corporation and" Geotehproekt " a feasibility study of the permanent exploration conditions of the deposit is completed as well as a report on the calculations of reserves.

And in accordance with the licensing terms (from 03.05. 11), the technical and economic justification of the explorational conditions and the report on the calculations of the Voyshorskoe fields` barite ore deposits reserves are submitted to the stock commission.The reserves of the Voyshorskoe fields` barite ore deposits (categories C1 and C2) are amounts to 400 thousand tons.
