The Corporations` delegation participated in the 7th Inter-Governmental Commission in Prague

The "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar" delegation participated in the 7th Inter-Governmental Commission meeting, held in Prague last week.

The first main meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. The Deputy Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic Ivo Vikidal, the Secretary of State, and the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Sergey Aristov, welcomed all the present. The meeting was also attended by the representatives of political and business structures of the Czech Republic.

The «Northern latitudinal railway» project was presented by the Deputy General Director of the Corporation, Alexander Atadjanov and by the General Director of the Yamal Railways, Jacob Kraft.

The project's presentation generated great interest among the participants. In this regard, it is important to point out that for the business development in Czech Republic, participating in this project would not only provide a possibility of entering Russian financial market but is also a possibility of gaining serious experience in construction in the Far North conditions.

The activities of the Corporation are well known in the Czech Republic. The local media regularly reports on the Russian - Czech joint projects.

With the continued threat of a global economic crisis, it is important for the Czech Republic, in addition to the participation of its financial institutions in the implementation of Russian large-scale projects, to engage the industrial capacity of the Republic. The result of this cooperation not only preserves and creates new jobs in the Czech Republic, but also increases tax revenue of the state.
