Chairman of the State Duma Construction and Land relations committee Martin Shakkum believes that implementation of the "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar" project reached a "point of no return" last year.

According to Mr. Shukkum, who coordinates the comprehensive investment project "Ural Industrial - Ural Polar" from the "United Russia" party, in 2010 the project gained its final and logic shape.

Firstly the matter is about implementation of the transport sector - formation of the strategic main "Northern latitudinal way".

An implemented by the Corporation program of energy diversification of the Urals Federal District's economies by introduction of a whole complex of new energy objects, two of which are located in Kharp and Noyabrsk and thave already been put into operation, is very important, too.

And finally, implementation of the mining-geological sector of the project, directly connected with the strategy of innovative development of national economy, deserves absolute support as well. Such, for example, is the program of formation of the Severo-Sosvinskiy energy complex of brown coals.

Martin Shakkum supposes that the meeting of February 16, which will be presided by Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Boris Gryzlov and Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the Urals Federal District Nikolai Vinnichenko, will give an extra impetus to implementation of the comprehensive investment project, a party project of the "United Russia" political party.
