Construction of the Salekhard - Nadym railroad has started!

"The Salekhard - Nadym railroad - its construction from the Salekhard side has started recently and construction from the Nadym side is to begin within the next few days - will be finished at the scheduled time, i.e. in 2014", - said Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of theRussian Federation in the Urals federal District, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the OJSC "Corporation Ural Industrial - Ural Polar" Alexander Beletskiy.

"Firstly, the railroad will be constructed by the safe construction organizations having a serious experience of work in Extreme North areas. Secondly, we intend to use the existing infrastructure of the Obskoy traffic center. Thirdly, we have worked out innovative technological solutions that would help increase efficiency of work at the same time cutting the costs of construction," - stressed Deputy Plenipotentiary.
